How former Vols performed in the NBA Sunday.

Two former University of Tennessee basketball players competed in the NBA Sunday. Both started for their respective teams.

In Boston, the Celtics defeated Minnesota, 134-112, at TD Garden.

Grant Williams started at forward for Boston and logged 28 minutes. He had seven points, three assists and one block.

Williams was 2-for-5 from the floor, 1-for-3 from beyond the 3-point arc and 2-for-2 from the free throw line.

Williams was a first-round pick by the Celtics in 2019 after being a two-time SEC Player of the Year during his sophomore and junior years with the Volunteers.

In Phoenix, the Suns outlasted Philadelphia, 114-104, at Footprint Center.

Tobias Harris started at forward for the 76ers and played 38 minutes. He had 17 points, eight rebounds and two assists.

Harris was 8-for-14 from the floor and 1-for-5 in three-point attempts.
