Three former University of Tennessee basketball players competed in the NBA Friday. One did not play due to a coach’s decision and another was inactive.

In Atlanta, Boston lost a 108-92 decision to the Hawks at State Farm Arena.

Grant Williams and Josh Richardson both appeared off the bench for the Celtics.

Williams played 23 minutes. He was held scoreless and had three rebounds, one steal and one block.

Richardson had seven points, one rebound, one assist, one steal and one block, while playing 18 minutes.

In Orlando, the Magic defeated Detroit, 119-103, at Amway Center.

Admiral Schofield logged three minutes against the Pistons, recording one rebound.

In Memphis, the Grizzlies defeated Utah, 119-108. Yves Pons did not play due to a coach’s decision.

Rookie Keon Johnson was inactive for the Los Angeles Clippers in its, 121-114, loss to the Heat in Miami.
