Former Vols in the NBA: Dec. 22 recap

How former Vols fared in the NBA Wednesday.

Two former University of Tennessee basketball players competed in the NBA Wednesday. Two others were inactive.

In Atlanta, Orlando won its second consecutive game, defeating the Hawks, 104-98, at State Farm Arena.

Admiral Schofield, who recently signed a 10-day contract with the Magic, came off the bench to play 13 minutes. He had eight points and two rebounds.

He was 3-for-3 from the floor, 2-for-2 from beyond the 3-point arc and 0-for-1 from the free throw line.

In Sacramento, rookie Keon Johnson had four points, three rebounds, one assist and one steal as the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Kings, 105-89, at Golden 1 Center.

Johnson, a two-way player for Los Angeles, was recently called up from Agua Caliente, the Clippers’ NBA G-League affiliate.

In Boston, the Celtics defeated Cleveland, 111-101, at TD Garden.

Josh Richardson and Grant Williams were inactive as they remain in health and safety protocols.
