Former Vikings LB Eric Kendricks out on Sunday

The former Vikings star linebacker won’t be able to play against his former team

The Minnesota Vikings were set to face one of their former stars in linebacker Eric Kendricks but he was officially ruled out on Sunday with a hamstring injury.

A brutal loss for the Chargers and a major disappointment for Kendricks, who spent eight seasons with the Vikings. In his place will be 2020 first-round pick Kenneth Murray, who has massively struggled during his career.

Also out for the Chargers will be starting running back Austin Ekeler with an ankle injury. That is a big loss for the Chargers, as he is one of the better running backs in the NFL.

In his place will be Josh Kelley, who struggled last week against a great Tennessee Titans team, but looked really good in week one against the Miami Dolphins.
