Former UGA RB Nick Chubb suffers potential concussion

Former Georgia Bulldog Nick Chubb suffered a potential concussion injury at Cleveland Browns practice.

Former Georgia Bulldog Nick Chubb had a big-time season in the NFL last season. The Cleveland Browns running back finished second in the NFL in rushing yards (1,494) behind Derrick Henry in 2019.

Now, Nick Chubb is undergoing evaluation for a concussion. Chubb took a significant hit in practice. The former UGA standout has played in every game throughout his two year NFL career.

The Cleveland Browns open their seasons against the Baltimore Ravens on Sept. 13. Kareem Hunt will assume the starting role in the Cleveland backfield for the time being.

We’ll keep you updated on the status of Chubb’s injury. His injury could open the door for Cleveland to bring back former Georgia Bulldog Brian Herrien. The Browns previously cut Herrien this offseason.

Nick Chubb’s injury could additionally have some serious fantasy football implications for all of the fantasy football fans out there. Chubb is going as a top ten running back in the majority of fantasy drafts.
