Former Tiger joins the Clemson coaching staff as a student assistant coach

A former Tiger has joined the Clemson coaching staff as a student assistant coach.

Dabo Swinney has brought multiple former Clemson players onto his coaching staff, and at the start of fall camp, another former Tiger has rejoined the program.

Swinney announced Friday that former Clemson safety T.J. Green will be on the coaching staff this season as a student assistant coach. The seven-year NFL veteran has some classes to take to earn his degree, and Swinney welcomed him back with open arms.

A second-round pick in the (57th overall) in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts, Green was most recently drafted in the XFL in 2022. Another great Tigers is back with the program and ready to make a difference.
