A former Tiger is getting another chance to play the game he loves at a professional level.

Former Clemson wide receiver Diondre Overton is back in the USFL as he has been selected by the Memphis Showboats in the USFL dispersal draft. A new team for Overton to look to make an impact on.

During Overton’s time with the Tigers from 2016-19, the receiver recorded 52 career receptions for 777 yards and seven touchdowns over 51 games (five starts). In 2022, with the Philadelphia Stars, Overton recorded 200 receiving yards and three touchdowns. In 2023, he recorded 30 catches for 333 yards and two touchdowns.

Overton looks to become a focal point for the Showboats offense in 2024.
