Another former Longhorn will be making his way to TCU to play for new head coach Sonny Dykes.
Jared Wiley, the third-year tight end, announced his transfer destination on Saturday. Between nagging injuries and being buried on the depth chart behind super-senior Cade Brewer, Wiley was not as utilized this past season as many thought he would be.
Wiley will remain in the Big 12 and suit up for the Horned Frogs next season.

Wiley marks the second Longhorn in the past two days to find a new home, as former quarterback Casey Thompson announced that he would be transferring to Nebraska. He also marks the second Longhorn to transfer to TCU, as linebacker Terrance Cooks announced he would play for the Horned Frogs in November.
He finished his Texas career with 19 catches for 348 yards and three touchdowns.
With both Wiley and Brewer leaving, the Longhorns will have to rely on the younger tight ends like Ja’Tavion Sanders, Gunner Helm, and Juan Davis to fill the void.
