Former Texas A&M DB rumored to be in running for the Saints HC job

Texas A&M Hall of Famer Aaron Glenn rumored to be linked the New Orleans Saints HC job

One of the hottest teams in the NFL right now is the Detroit Lions. With a 15-2 record, the rest of the league is trying to poach anyone they can from the staff.

Head coach for former Texas A&M tight end Dan Campbell has resurrected the floundering Lions franchise from the pits of mediocrity, making them a legit Super Bowl contender.

With success, General managers come calling to provide coordinators with head coaching opportunities. The hot name in Detroit is OC Ben Johnson, who will undoubtedly have his pick once the season ends.

However, Lions DC and Texas A&M alumnus Aaron Glenn has been garnering interest from various teams. The most likely team seems to be the New Orleans Saints, where Glenn is very familiar, having spent five seasons with them as a player and defensive back coach.

On Saturday, per Tony Pauline, the job is waiting for Glenn to finish up the season.

“And while several candidates have been connected as the Saints next head coach, league sources tell me when all is said and done, it will be Aaron Glenn who lands the job.”

Glenn has been an excellent pro, and hopefully, he will get his chance to lead a team as their head coach.
