Former 2022 5-star cornerback Denver Harris has had quite the college football career, coming off of brief stints with Texas A&M and LSU during the 2022 and 2023 seasons before entering the transfer portal, looking for a fresh start elsewhere.
Back in early January, it was reported that Harris had been scheduled to visit College Station for a potential return, and as surprising as the news was, this was before new head coach Mike Elko had acquired four cornerbacks through the portal, but Harris would opt not to visit the Aggies after all.
With his options limited, Harris is still an elite talent with NFL potential, and as of Tuesday, it has been announced that he will transfer to UTSA and join Roadrunners head coach Jeff Traylor for the 2024 season.

During his short college career, Harris has accumulated 21 tackles (16 solo tackles) and five pass deflections in two collegiate seasons. Looking at Traylor’s track record of developing NFL corners, look no further than current Seattle Seahawks CB Tariq “Riq” Woolen.
