Former Rutgers football punter Adam Korsak set for two NFL rookie minicamps

Adam Korsak will be attending two NFL rookie minicamps this summer.

Adam Korsak will head off to two AFC teams for rookie minicamps this summer as he looks to catch on with an NFL team.

The winner of the Ray Guy Award as the nation’s top punter last year, Korsak will go to the rookie minicamps for the Kansas City Chiefs and the Pittsburgh Steelers, a source confirms. Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 in Houston was the first to report the information.

Korsak surprisingly went undrafted after a season where he was the best punter in college football by a wide margin. Last season, Korsak had 75 punts and averaged 44.0 yards per punt.

His Rutgers career sees him finish as the NCAA’s all-time leader in punting attempts (349) and yardage (15,318).

The Chiefs certainly found success with Rutgers football recently. Isiah Pacheco, a seventh round pick of the Chiefs last year out of Rutgers, was arguably one of the best players to be taken in the NFL draft last year.

In 2022 as part of a Chiefs team that won the Super Bowl, Pacheco had 830 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns on 170 carries. He also contributed on special teams.

In a Super Bowl win over the Philadelphia Eagles, Pacheco ran for a touchdown in the second quarter.
