The Baltimore Ravens lost to the Cincinnati Bengals in the Wild Card Round by the final score of 24-17, ending their bid at a potential Super Bowl appearance during the 2022-2023 NFL season. However, a few of the team’s former players are gearing up for an appearance in the big game with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Two former Ravens will take the stage in Super Bowl LVII as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles in offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. and defensive lineman Brandon Williams. Both are members of the Chiefs, and will be looking to win their first Super Bowl after stints with Baltimore.
Brown was a third-round pick of the Ravens in the 2018 NFL draft. He found himself starting at right tackle for Baltimore, but requested a trade due to his desire to play left tackle. He was traded to Kansas City during the 2021 offseason in exchange for a package that included a first-round pick.
Williams was a third-round pick of Baltimore in 2013, and played nine seasons with the team. Known as a phenomenal run defender, Williams totaled 325 total tackles and seven sacks during his time with the Ravens.
