Former Rams RB Zac Stacy has been accused of violently attacking his ex-girlfriend in front of their 5-month-old child

Former Rams running back Zac Stacy has been accused of violently attacking his ex-girlfriend in front of their 5-month-old child, according to a report from TMZ Sports. The alleged incident occurred on Saturday in Florida at the home of Stacy’s ex-girlfriend.

She alleges that Stacy punched her multiple times and threw her across the room into a TV, which fell on top of her. He then stood over her and threw an object at her before picking her up again and allegedly slamming her into the child’s bouncy seat. TMZ obtained video of the altercation, which was recorded inside her home. The police were called immediately but Stacy left the scene before they arrived.

“He punched me several times in the head! I begged him to stop because the baby was on the couch just a few feet from where he punched me,” she said in a restraining order, which was obtained by TMZ. “I fear for my life and my children’s lives.”

The woman said she was treated at a hospital for bumps, bruises and a possible cut on her head.

Stacy was drafted by the Rams in 2013 out of Vanderbilt and played two seasons with them in St. Louis. When Todd Gurley was drafted in 2015, Stacy asked to be traded and he was dealt to the New York Jets for a seventh-round pick.

He played eight games with the Jets that year and has not appeared in a game since 2015.
