Former Notre Dame star back with Steelers

Back to the Burgh for a former Notre Dame standout

Former Notre Dame wide receiver [autotag]Miles Boykin[/autotag] is returning to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The team announced the move on Monday. He originally joined the Steelers in April of 2022 when he was claimed off waivers.

Boykin was a special teams standout last year in Pittsburgh. Playing in 16 games, he recorded 10 tackles, including a team-high nine solo tackles on special teams. He also played some receiver, pulling in a pair of receptions for 11 yards.

Boykin was a third-round NFL draft pick of the Baltimore Ravens in 2019.  He spent three seasons there before being waived.

Boykin’s 872 receiving yards led Notre Dame in 2018, a year it went 12-0 in the regular season and qualified for the College Football Playoff for the first time in program history. The Providence Catholic (Illinois) graduate finished his Notre Dame career with 77 receptions for over 1,200 yards.
