Former NFL GM: Chicago Bears should draft Bryce Young, trade Justin Fields

Could Bryce Young begin his NFL career in Chicago?

Former Alabama quarterback Bryce Young is currently preparing for the 2023 NFL draft. He, along with football fans from across the nation, are unsure as to where he will begin his professional career.

The Chicago Bears hold the first overall pick in the draft but have 2021 first-round pick Justin Fields on the roster and seem to be ready to move forward with him.

Without a need for a quarterback, the Bears could trade the pick and acquire picks or players from a QB-needy franchise.

However, former NFL general Manager and front office member Mike Tannenbaum believes the Bears should hold onto the pick, trade Justin Fields and draft Bryce Young.

Tannenbaum argues that the compensation in return for Fields would be roughly first and third-round picks. He also states that in his opinion, Young will have a better NFL career than Fields.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow Bryce Young and other former Alabama players preparing for the 2023 NFL draft.
