The NBA virtual fan experience has been largely hit or miss.
On one hand, quite frankly, it’s been extremely weird to see all of these virtual faces tuning in to the games from on a virtual screen.
On the other, we’ve managed to see some pretty cool faces in the crowd. The latest is Kerry Kittles. The former New Jersey net pulled up to the game in the virtual audience.
At first, it was pretty cool to see such an old player popping up on the screen. It’s one of those “Hey! My guy!” moments that take you back. And he could even hear the broadcast team talking about him. It was nice!
Then, everything started going terribly. He started glitching out and fading away back into whatever matrix he came from. It was terrible.

He just kept virtually pulsating and shaking his head as he acknowledged the broadcasters. It was hilariously bad. He looks like an extra from NBA Live 2003.
Y’all, look at how big this thumb is.

So bad. So so so bad. But still, nice to see Kerry! Hopefully, during the next game his feed is a little better.
