[autotag]Hattori Racing Enterprises[/autotag]’ fall from the mountain in the NASCAR Truck Series was a surprising development after winning the 2018 championship with Brett Moffit. The No. 16 truck won 14 races from 2018 to 2021, but the organization didn’t win the last two years. Then, Hattori Racing Enterprises vanished from the Truck Series landscape.
The NASCAR organization hasn’t entered a Truck Series race in 2024; however, that could change. On Tuesday afternoon, Hattori Racing Enterprises posted a picture of the No. 16 with the caption, “Soon. This might be an announcement about an announcement.” The social media account then tagged the Truck Series and North Wilkesboro Speedway.

The Truck Series will race at North Wilkesboro on May 18, and Hattori Racing Enterprises is likely teasing a return. One driver that would make a lot of sense for the No. 16 truck is Sean Hingorani, who has made one start for Hattori Racing Enterprises in the ARCA Menards Series this year. Either way, the NASCAR team could be returning, which is good for the on-track product.
