Trenton Gillison was a highly anticipated prospect coming out of Pickerington Central High School in southern Ohio. Ranked as a 4-star prospect and the No. 10 TE in the 2018 recruiting class, MSU fans were very excited to watch Gillison’s Spartan career.
Unfortunately, his development never really took off, and he struggled to find playing time. At the conclusion of the 2021 season, Gillison decided he would be transferring from the program. He finished his MSU career with 18 catches for 201 yards in three seasons of action.
Missed this before but Youngstown State last month announced it added Michigan State transfer tight end Trenton Gillison to the program.

Gillison has since found his new home, heading back to his home state of Ohio to play for the Youngstown State Penguins.
