A former LSU left-hander is heading out west to join a new member of the Big Ten for the 2025 season.
Late on Monday night, redshirt freshman [autotag]Nic Bronzini[/autotag] announced his commitment to Washington out of the transfer portal following two seasons at LSU. The former No. 2 left-handed pitcher in the state of California coming out of high school, Bronzini entered the transfer portal following the Tigers’ elimination at the 2024 Chapel Hill Regional.
After redshirting in 2023, Bronzini only saw sporadic action this past spring. He made six appearances, pitching just 4.2 innings while allowing five hits, three earned runs and four walks with eight strikeouts.
