Ten years after the end of his playing career, former LSU cornerback [autotag]Corey Webster[/autotag] officially retired as a New York Giant on Friday.
The nine-year NFL veteran last played in 2013 after spending his entire career with the franchise, but he never officially retired. That changed as he signed a one-day contract to officially end his playing career as a member of the Giants franchise.
A former star at LSU from 2001-04, Webster was a two-time First Team All-American and All-SEC selection, finishing with 16 career interceptions which still ranks second all-time at LSU. He also was a part of the national title-winning team in 2003.
