A former Nebraska quarterback struggled during his second game of the season. Casey Thompson and Florida Atlantic lost to Ohio 17-10 on Saturday.

Thompson struggled to get FAU’s passing game going against the Bobcats. He would finish the game 23-42 for 180 yards and two interceptions.

For the season, the quarterback has thrown for 460 yards and five touchdowns with three interceptions. This is the quarterback’s third team in five years after playing at Texas and Nebraska.

With the recent struggles of Nebraska’s starting quarterback Jeff Sims, curiosity has risen regarding Thompson’s performance at FAU. Last season with Nebraska, he started ten games and threw for 2,407 yards, 17 touchdowns and ten interceptions
