Former Georgia star running back D’Andre Swift will be driving the pace car for NASCAR’s race at Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend.
Swift is entering his second season at tailback for the Detroit Lions following a solid rookie campaign in 2020. Swift racked up 521 yards on 114 attempts (4.6 avg.) and eight touchdowns and caught 46 passes for 357 yards and two touchdowns through the air.

Swift went to Detroit with 2020’s 35th overall pick after a productive career at Georgia where he finished as UGA’s seventh all-time leading rusher (2,885) while adding another 666 yards receiving.
