Former Georgia Bulldogs linebacker Nolan Smith was a first-round pick in the 2023 NFL draft. However, that didn’t prevent him from having a welcome to the NFL moment with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Smith recorded one quarterback pressure in his preseason debut with the Eagles. Smith joins a great defense in Philadelphia. He’s in an ideal situation and will not have to start immediately in the NFL.
Smith’s welcome to the NFL moment came on special teams when a kick returner juked him out.
Smith shared his welcome to the NFL story with CBS reporter Jeff Kerr. Smith, like most rookies, is still adjusting to the speed of the NFL game.
