Former Eagles first round pick signs to Chargers practice squad

Los Angeles Chargers sign Jalen Reagor to the practice squad

It didn’t take Jalen Reagor very long to find a new home in the NFL after the Patriots released him following a social media fiasco. On Monday night, the Athletic’s Daniel Popper reported the Los Angeles Chargers plan to sign Reagor to their practice squad pending a physical.

New England head coach Jerod Mayo cut ties with Reagor after he used social media to troll the Patriots roster decisions.

After being waived by the Vikings last summer, Reagor signed to the New England Patriots practice squad ahead of the Week 1 matchup against Philadelphia.

Reagor appeared in 11 games for New England last season and caught seven passes for 138 yards with no touchdowns.

Reagor was drafted with the No. 20 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft, ahead of Minnesota Vikings All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson.

Roseman’s penchant for drafting Georgia players and selecting guys with pedigree started after this blown opportunity he’s admitted to on multiple occasions.

Reagor had eight catches for 104 yards and one touchdown last season and has played three NFL seasons for the Eagles and Vikings. Overall, Reagor has logged 72 catches for 799 yards, five touchdowns, and 61 punt returns for 488 yards.
