Former Browns WR Jarvis Landry works out for another fringe-playoff team

The Colts have worked out a familiar name in Cleveland

The Cleveland Browns are not the only team in the wildcard hunt, as another team who is has brought in a former Cleveland receiver for a workout as they try to improve their roster. Looking for a late-season boost in their wide receiver room, and after suspending Isaiah McKenzie for conduct detrimental to the team, the Indianapolis Colts have reached out to Jarvis Landry.

The former Pro Bowl receiver spent four seasons with the Browns, tallying over 3,500 yards and 15 touchdowns in that span. He was released by Cleveland following the 2021 season, spending last year with the New Orleans Saints. Playing in nine games a year ago, Landry mustered just 272 yards and a touchdown for the Saints.

We will see if Landry lands in Indianapolis, as a need has opened up after the suspension of McKenzie. If he does, Landry will have an opportunity to make plays for a team fighting for a playoff spot down the stretch.
