Former Bills OL Jeremiah Sirles retires from NFL

OL Jeremiah Sirles retires from the NFL.

Former Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Jeremiah Sirles retired from the NFL on Monday. He posted to his social media accounts announcing the decision.

In the 28-year-old’s post, he spoke fondly of the Bills, calling the team one that’s on the rise. The Bills were the last team he played for in 2018. Sirles also played for the Chargers and Vikings in his career. He cited ankle injuries over recent seasons as a reason why he’s hanging em’ up:

Prior to last season, Sirles ended up on the PUP list and eventually was cut through an injury settlement. Sirles entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent and the Bills, under Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane have opted for versatile lineman. Sirles provided a depth option for the Bills across pretty much every position on their O-line during his team with the team in 2018.
