The Carolina Panthers have named a former member of the Buffalo Bills front office as their general manager.
The Panthers have promoted Dan Morgan to their vacant GM position. Officially, Morgan’s title is president of football operations/ general manager.
Morgan worked in the front office of One Bills Drive from 2018-2020. He was Buffalo’s director of player personnel.
The 45-year-old left the Bills for Carolina originally in 2021. He was the Panthers’ assistant general manager prior to being promoted.
In 2001, Morgan was a first-round pick of the Panthers at No. 11 overall. Prior to working in Buffalo’s front office, Morgan was the Seattle Seahawks’ direction of pro scouting.
Morgan’s relationship with Bills current general manager Brandon Beane certainly makes Carolina a team that could do business with Buffalo in the future.
