Former Bills coach Leslie Frazier joins NFL Network as analyst

Leslie Frazier is back in football:

Leslie Frazier is back in football, but perhaps not in the way many would have expected.

NFL Network announced that Frazier has joined their list of analysts that will work on their various broadcasts during the 2023 season:

As stated, Frazier will appear on at least “NFL Gameday Live” Sundays at 1:00 p.m.

Frazier, 64, had parted ways with the Bills after the 2022 season. It was stated that he was going to “take off” a year but the team never mentioned he would be back in Buffalo. Head coach Sean McDermott has since taken over defensive coordinator duties.

It had been clear for some time that Frazier was interested in working in football in some capacity in 2023 despite the notion from the Bills that he wanted a year off. In May, Frazier took part in the NFL’ s Coach Accelerator program.

The program aims to “increase exposure between owners, executives, and diverse coaching talent, providing ample opportunity to develop and build upon their relationships.”
