Former Alabama Crimson Tide safety Kareem Jackson agreed to a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday morning.
Jackson spent the first 14 years of his NFL career with the Houston Texans and Denver Broncos. The Georgia native has had a lot of success up to this point. In 10 seasons with the Texans organization, Jackson recorded 559 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, and 16 interceptions. In five seasons with the Broncos organization, Jackson tallied 342 tackles, eight tackles for loss, and six interceptions.
One of the more impressive statistics from Jackson is the total amount of games that he has played in — 203. He has seemingly always been able to stay healthy and produce at a high level.
It will be interesting to see how Jackson performs in Orchard Park for the Bills.
We’ve signed S Kareem Jackson to a one-year contract and released LB Shayne Simon.
