Former Alabama RB Bo Scarbrough to join USFL Birmingham Stallions

Bo is back playing football in the state of Alabama!

This is the inaugural season of the USFL and the Birmingham Stallions have taken the league by storm. The Stallions have opened the season on a four game winning streak. However, they’re not done improving as they have signed former Alabama running-back [autotag]Bo Scarbrough[/autotag].

Scarbrough was a local legend, playing his high school ball at Northridge High School in Tuscaloosa for three years. Going into his senior year he  ultimately decided to go to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

After high school Scarbrough was a consensus five-star and committed to Alabama. He played three years for the Tide amassing career totals of 267 carries, 1,512 yards and 20 touchdowns in 31 career games. Scarbrough declared for the NFL after his junior year and was selected in the seventh round No. 236 overall by the Dallas Cowboys. Scarbrough bounced around a few different teams in the NFL before ultimately receiving the call to join the USFL and the Stallions.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow former Alabama players in the NFL and USFL.
