Former Alabama LB Terrell Lewis placed on Rams’ reserve/COVID-19 list

Former Alabama LB Terrell Lewis has been placed on the Los Angeles Rams’ reserve/COVID-19 list, reason is unknown.

Former Alabama linebacker Terrell Lewis was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the third round of the 2020 NFL draft. After an injury-riddled collegiate career, Lewis was expected to be a steal for the Rams.

Lewis was placed on the Rams’ reserve/COVID-19 list yesterday. Teams are not allowed to disclose the reason behind this move, but it does not guarantee that the former Crimson Tide standout has contracted the virus.

The rookie can be removed after producing two negative tests after five days of being placed on the list, or after ten days.

The NFL will have a bit of a different look for the 2020 season, due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. Players are choosing to opt out, fans will likely be absent from stadiums and the inevitable spread of the virus will cause players to miss time on the field.
