Former Alabama defensive tackle DJ Dale signed with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent on Saturday.

Dale spent four seasons in Tuscaloosa and was virtually a starter in all of them. Dale played a mixture of defensive tackle and nose guard.

In four seasons, he recorded 74 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, and three fumble recoveries.

While he was not the flashiest interior defensive lineman that Alabama has had over the years, he always got the job done. He could be useful as a run-stopper and provide needed depth for the Bills’ defensive line unit.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow the Alabama football program and its players at the next level.
