For Kendrick Perkins, fellow Boston Celtics alum Jayson Tatum is a top-five player

Recently, much of the chatter about star Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum has been about where the St. Louis native ought to be ranked in pursuit of the 2023 Kia Most Valuable Player award. And while that race is an important one for Tatum, the Celtics, and their fans, former Boston big man and current ESPN broadcaster Kendrick Perkins recently took a different tack, and debated where the Duke alum ought to be ranked among current NBA superstars.
