It’s starting to look like the Oregon Ducks are getting set to make a splash on Wednesday when the Early Signing Period opens up.
A flurry of late predictions now has come in for the Ducks to land a commitment from 5-star EDGE Matayo Uiagalelei, the No. 2 EDGE and No. 17 overall player in the 2023 class. The Ducks have been recruiting Uiagalelei hard over the past year, but the thought was that it was either Ohio State or USC that led for his commitment.
However, it appears that the Ducks may be getting a boost late. A pair of predictions from On3 came in on Tuesday night for Matayo to commit to Oregon, and 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong also logged a prediction for the Ducks as well.
We will see on Wednesday where Uiagaelei ends up committing in the end.
