Florida three-star wide receiver recruit Kevin Levy talks Rutgers football offer

Kevin Levy offered by Rutgers football last week.

Florida wide receiver Kevin Levy pulled in an offer from Rutgers football last week. The class of 2024 athlete thought enough of the offer that it looks like he will be visiting sometime this spring.

Levy is a 6-foot, 178-pound wide receiver from Cardinal Newman (West Palm Beach, FL). He has an impressive offer list that includes Arkansas, Boston College, Florida, Florida State, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Minnesota, North Carolina State, and Pittsburgh among others.

In 12 games played last season for Cardinal Newman, he had 19 catches for 304 yards and two touchdowns.

He was offered last week by Rutgers following a call with head coach Greg Schiano and cornerbacks coach Mark Orphey.

“I was talking to them for a minute now since the summer and they hardly give out any offers too,” Levy told Rutgers Wire this week.

“So I got on the phone with the defensive backs coach and the head coach and we had a nice conversation and he offered me.”

Levy said that what stood out about the offer was the mentality of the program.

“Just the way they run their program and what the team means and how they are family that go by a code.”

As for a visit, Levy said he is “definitely going to get up (to Rutgers) this spring for sure.”

He is also planning visits to Florida State and Florida.
