Florida set to host top-ranked 2024 interior offensive lineman

The Gators are going after the best of the best and will host one of the top offensive linemen in the recruiting class of 2024 next week.

The Florida Gators are getting the top-ranked interior offensive lineman from the class of 2024, [autotag]Jordan Seaton[/autotag], on campus for a visit next week, according to a report from 247Sports.

UF offered a scholarship to Seaton back in January, but he has reeled in nearly three dozen offers in total.

Seaton recently named a top 14 of Florida, Alabama, Colorado, Georgia, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Southern California, Tennessee and Texas A&M. He has plans to visit UF, FSU, UM and Colorado over the next two months, but there is plenty of room to fit in more trips.

The On3 recruiting prediction machine currently favors the Buckeyes, giving OSU 90.5% odds to land Seaton, but that’s mostly based on two unofficial visits over the past year. One good trip to a different program could shift the balance significantly.

Florida offers some potential early playing time with the offensive line turning over almost completely this offseason and Billy Napier using the transfer portal to piece together some replacements. By the time, Seaton gets to campus, many of those guys will have moved on to the pros.

Seaton is a consensus four-star recruit who lands at No. 32 overall on the On3 industry ranking. He’s the top-ranked interior offensive lineman in the class and is ranked second among recruits from the D.C. area. The 247Sports composite is a little more bearish on him at No. 41 overall, but he still holds the top spot in the positional rankings there.
