Legendary soccer players: They’re just like us!
Lionel Messi is moving to Florida to play for Inter Miami and all of a sudden, he’s a Florida Man, casually shopping at a Publix like any other human being in that state would.
There wasn’t a huge uproar beyond some fans spotting him and taking some selfies. It might have been a surprise for Messi, who’s a worldwide superstar — he might be used to getting mobbed wherever he goes. But he might have also known that in the United States, he’s only somewhat recognizable and can just walk his cart down the aisles without being bothered too much (for now?).
