Week 12 was another wild one on the college football gridiron which once again shook up the CFP picture with just two weeks remaining in the regular season.
The Florida Gators scored a huge upset over the LSU Tigers in the Swamp on Saturday, but unfortunately, it was not enough to earn any votes in the US LBM Coaches Poll this time around. Nonetheless, there were plenty of other changes of note.
The biggest movers were the Tennesee Volunteers and BYU Cougars, whose losses sent them tumbling seven spots apiece while still remaining in the top 25. Here is how the rest of the Southeastern Conference fared in the Week 12 updates of the Coaches Poll.
SEC schools in Coaches Poll top 25
The Texas Longhorns remain the top-ranked SEC school in the rankings this week, holding on to the third spot in the poll. Next up are the Alabama Crimson Tide at seventh, Georgia Bulldogs at eighth and Ole Miss Rebels in the ninth slot to round out the top 10.
Tennessee is now ranked No. 11, followed by the Texas A&M Aggies at No. 14 and South Carolina Gamecocks at No. 19 to give the conference seven top-25 programs. The Missouri Tigers fell out and now hold a de facto No. 28 ranking thanks to 44 votes while LSU also tumbled down and out with one remaining vote.
The Vanderbilt Commodores also hold onto one last vote this week as well.
