Florida Gators add three commits to two classes in 11-day span

UF added three names to its recruiting class signing defensive end Jeremiah Williams, athlete Sam McCall and guard Yousef Mugharbil.

Most recently, the Gators added Murphy, North Carolina four-star guard Yousef Mugharbil.

Already listed at 6-foot-4.5-inches and 304 pounds, he has promising measurables for the rigors of playing on the interior of the offensive line in the SEC and room to add more size.

The No. 15 player at the position and a top-20 player in the Tar Heel State, Mugharbil was courted by tight ends coach Tim Brewster and run game coordinator/offensive line coach John Hevesy.

He is the fifth offensive lineman in Florida’s upcoming class, accompanying Orlando tackle Javonte Gardner, Independence (Kansas) Community College guard Deyavie Hammond, Ocala center Jake Slaughter and Lynn Haven tackle Adrein Strickland, all of whom are listed as three-stars.

Now consisting of 26 members, the Gators’ 2021 class is rated No. 7 nationally and fourth-best in the SEC.
