Florida football’s 2025 Southeastern Conference opponents revealed

The SEC office established the 2025 conference format this week, and Florida will play the same opponents as it will in 2024.

Florida’s 2025 conference schedule will look very similar to the one it plays in the upcoming season.

The SEC office established a scheduling format for the 2025 season on Wednesday.

“Schools will play the same opponents in 2025 that they are scheduled to play in 2024, with sites changed for equal home and away competition over the course of the two seasons,” a release from the league office read. “The 2024 season is the first in which Oklahoma and Texas will compete in the SEC.”

That means Florida will host Mississippi State, Tennessee and Texas and travel to Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas A&M. The Florida-Georgia game will still take place at a neutral site in Jacksonville, but Florida will be the designated home team.

A full schedule will be released at a future date.

Florida’s non-conference schedule features road games against both Miami and Florida State. The Gators open the season with USF and host Florida A&M later on.

Starting in 2024, the SEC is doing away with divisions and the top two teams will play for the championship. The release notes that the same format will be used in 2025.
