You can’t win them all, and this is the time of year when we see many recruiting changes before National Signing Day. No one is really committed until papers are signed and the athlete shows up on campus with a class schedule.
On Tuesday night, 2025 pitcher Titan Targac announced via social media that he would be reopening his recruitment and de-committing from Texas A&M. Targac is a very talented strikeout machine who was named the MVP of the Victoria Advocate 2024 All-Area Baseball Team. The LHP and his 90+ mph fastball topped the 2024 Texas High School 2A strikeout leaders.
A decommitment is never fun news to hear, but it’s not the end of the world, and there is always time to re-recruit the player if both parties still have a mutual interest in each other. However, we hope Tragac has a great senior season and chooses a school that best fits his desire.
