The North Carolina Tar Heels are in pursuit of a five-star prospect in the 2025 class who happens to be one of the top players. With North Carolina watching Koa Peat, they have identified him as one of their top targets.
Peat recently revealed that he is down to 10 programs in his recruitment including the Tar Heels. And now, he’s dishing on his visit he took to the program in 2023.
Talking with Jamie Shaw of On3, Peat discussed his recruitment while at the HoopHall event just a few weeks back. He discussed UNC and the visit including saying this about the program and what he liked:
“I learned a lot about the offense they run on my trip. But my biggest takeaway was the chemistry,” Peat said via Shaw. “The guys on the team really like each other.”
Peat talks more about his trip to UNC with Shaw in the article which is available to On3 subscribers. But it’s a good sign that Peat likes the chemistry that this team has as they are off to a 14-3 start overall.
