Overtime Elite announced on Tuesday that twin brothers Amen and Ausar Thompson have signed with the league and will be part of its inaugural season this September.
The news was first reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The five-star prospects, who are from Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, are widely considered two of the top guards in the class of 2022. Amen Thompson is the No. 22 overall prospect while Ausar is the No. 23 overall prospect, according to ESPN.
Amen is listed as a combo guard while Ausar is more of a traditional shooting guard. Each stands 6 feet, 6 inches. Together, they helped lead Pine Crest to the Florida 4A state championship this past season and were co-players of the year for Broward County Class 5A-1A boys.
They chose OTE over numerous schools, including Auburn, Arizona and Florida.

Amen and Ausar Thompson become the latest two prospects to commit to OTE, joining brothers Matt and Ryan Bewley, who signed with the league last week. Matt and Ryan were the first two players to commit to the startup league.
Led by head coach Kevin Ollie, OTE, which is based in Atlanta, Georgia, provides a comprehensive accelerator for elite players’ professional careers. The league claims its year-round development program combines world-class coaching, performance technologies and other elements.
Every player is guaranteed a minimum salary of $100,000 per season, plus bonuses and shares of equity in Overtime. Players will earn revenue from the use of their name, image and likeness, and they also retain the right to sign direct sponsorships with sneaker companies.
The company announced last month it had raised $80 million in new funding from a group of investors including Jeff Bezos, Drake and 25 NBA players including Trae Young, Cam Reddish and Solomon Hill.
