Cypress, Texas, native Harold Perkins is rated a five-star prospect and a top-5 overall player in the state according to 247Sports composite. The Football Brainiacs stated on Saturday that Perkins is planning to take an unofficial visit to Texas on June 18-20.
In-state rival Texas A&M appears to be Texas’ primary competitors in Perkins recruitment, as he has an official visit scheduled for June 4 in College Station. On top of that, he’s compiled an impressive list of offers from other Power Five programs such as Alabama, LSU, Florida, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Georgia, and Oregon.

Perkins was named a 16-6A first-team all-district selection at both running back and linebacker for Cy Park High School as a junior. He concluded the 2020 season with 47 tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, and three forced fumbles. On the offensive side, Perkins carried the ball 96 times for 983 yards and 14 touchdowns.
