Five-star, in-state edge rusher Zion Grady puts Auburn in top 10

Auburn is trying to keep the nation’s top edge rusher home.

Five-star edge rusher [autotag]Zion Grady[/autotag] is one of the best players in the 2025 recruiting class and despite just finishing his sophomore season he already has over 20 offers, including Auburn and the majority of the programs in the SEC.

On Sunday he made Auburn and nine other of his suitors happy when he announced his final 10 schools. The Tigers are now battling Alabama, Florida State, Michigan, Georgia, Tennessee, Oregon, Texas, USC and Louisville for the Troy native.

It’s early in his recruitment but Auburn sits in a good place, they have hosted him five times on visits and he is set to return for Big Cat Weekend later this month.

Grady is the No. 16 overall player and No. 1 edge rusher in the 247Sports Composite ranking. He is also the No. 3 player from Alabama in the 2025 recruiting cycle.

He is fresh off of a dominant sophomore season at Charles Henderson High School. The 6-foot-4, 210-pounder made 106 tackles, 35.0 tackles for loss, 19.0 sacks, forced three fumbles and blocked three kicks.
