Five-star forward sets visit for UNC basketball’s showdown with Duke

UNC basketball recruiting target Caleb Wilson is set to visit the program for their battle against Duke on February 3rd.

Hubert Davis and the North Carolina Tar Heels continue to push for prospects in future recruiting classes. With the Tar Heels bringing in a top 10 class for 2024, they are looking to build on that beginning with 2025.

One prospect that is high on North Carolina’s list is five-star forward Caleb Wilson. The Atlanta, Georgia native was set to visit UNC a few months ago but had to cancel due to a busy schedule with his high school basketball season.

But now, Wilson has a visit scheduled as he will be on North Carolina’s campus Feb. 3rd for the battle against rival Duke. Adam Zagoria of Zag’s Blog reported the news on Wednesday:

This will be the second time Wilson will see UNC in action as he will also be at te game against Georgia Tech in Atlanta. I don’t know if that gives UNC any advantage but it is another opportunity to see them play although the visit is for the Yellow Jackets.

The 6-foot-10, 205-pound forward is ranked No. 3 overall, No. 3 power forward and No. 1 player in the state of Georgia per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
