One of the best linebackers in the country resides in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex area. Denton Ryan High School’s Anthony Hill is the No. 1 linebacker in the country per the 247Sports composite and is being recruited by programs from across the nation.
Hill trimmed down his list of 30 offers to a top 12 on Tuesday afternoon. Texas made the cut, while Oklahoma and plenty of SEC schools feature as well.
Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Texas, Texas A&M, and USC is the full list.
The five-star linebacker made of few unofficial visits over the summer. He was in Austin for junior day in June, hanging out with other top prospects. Alabama, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M got visits as well.
Back on the field, Hill finished with 105 tackles on Denton Ryan’s 5A-DI state championship-winning team last season. Eleven of the tackles were for a loss with three sacks.
