Texas has made plenty of splashes thus far during the early signing period, and are hoping to make another with five-star cornerback Denver Harris.
The Longhorns are off to a hot start as they have been able to flip multiple players on Wednesday, while also keeping their top recruits in the class. Even with all the noise that has happened on the first day of the early signing period, Texas still has their eyes set on Harris, who has been a priority target for the entire year.
Harris is expected to sign sometime during the early signing period, but he will not announce his school of choice until Saturday. The top schools in his recruitment are Texas A&M, Texas, LSU and Alabama.
5-star CB Denver Harris says he will not announce today. He plans to sign in the early period but will announce after North Shore’s state championship game on Saturday

His announcement will come after his North Shore High School team competes in the state championship game on Saturday.
As it currently stands, Harris holds five crystal ball predictions to Texas A&M, which means Texas needs to put in some very last minute efforts into trying to get the lockdown corner to reconsider his options.
If Steve Sarkisian and his staff can pull this off, this would be a fantastic haul to an already loaded 2022 class.
