Five-star Baye Fall has Rutgers basketball in his top seven

Rutgers basketball lands in the top seven for five-star Baye Fall.

Baye Fall has included Rutgers basketball in his top seven. It is huge news for the Scarlet Knights to be in with the talented five-star center.

Arkansas, Kansas State, Texas, Seton Hall, Auburn, Colorado and Rutgers made the top seven for Fall. According to 247Sports, he is a five-star recruit and the No. 16 player in the nation.

The 6-foot-10 standout plays for Lutheran High School (Parker, CO). Last season, he averaged 21.3 points 10.6 rebounds and 3.7 blocks per game for his program.

The Lions went 16-1 a season ago.

After announcing his top seven over the weekend, Fall broke down his final group of schools to On3. Rutgers, he says, is forming a strong relationship:

“Rutgers develops a lot of guys. I have a good relationship with the head coach (Steve) Pikiell and coach (Karl) Hobbs,” Fall told On3.

“They know my family. I’m looking forward to my visit there and just having fun.”

Fall is a tremendous athlete who runs the court very well. His footwork is strong and he is capable of playing above the rim.
