Five-star ATH Treyaun Webb set to visit Oklahoma in June

Five-star ATH Treyaun Webb (Jacksonville, Florida) set to visit Oklahoma later in the month of June.

After well over a year, the NCAA recruiting dead period is finally over. High school players can once again take official visits to schools.

After roughly 15 months without players being able to check out campuses in an official setting, the number of visits occurring this month will be very high, and high-profile players will bounce around the country all summer.

One of those big-time players is the class of 2023 five-star athlete Treyaun Webb of Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville, Florida, who is set for numerous visits in June. One of his stops will be Norman as he checks out the home of the Sooners on June 18-19.

Webb is the No. 4 athlete in the country according to 247Sports’ composite rankings, and he has interest from numerous elite programs around the country, including Alabama, Georgia, Florida, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Texas. He will be a very big get for somebody, and it is significant that Lincoln Riley has locked Webb down for a visit in his busy schedule — a multi-day one at that.

Oklahoma has been in pursuit of Webb for quite a while, offering him on July 21, 2020. Now, it finally gets the chance to show him around campus in hopes of bringing him aboard.

Sooners Wire will provide updates and certainly continue to keep a close eye on Webb’s recruiting process as it unfolds.
